Jotเลย ("the app") is a personal income and expense tracker for Android. Your privacy is fundamental to how the app is built: Jotเลย stores all of your data locally on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

Information we collect

None. The app does not have user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not send any data to us or to any third party. All of your accounts, transactions, budgets, and categories are stored only in a local database on your device.

Photos & gallery access

With your permission, Jotเลย can read images from your device's gallery to automatically detect bank transfer slips and help you record transactions. This processing happens entirely on your device using on-device text recognition. Your photos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or shared with anyone. You can use the app fully without granting photo access.

Internet & third parties

The app does not transmit your financial data over the internet. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs that collect your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

Because all data lives on your device, you are in full control. You can delete individual records inside the app, use "Reset all data" in Settings to erase everything, or uninstall the app to remove all stored data.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
